How to use the crypto converter

Enter an amount, pick what you are converting from and to — any cryptocurrency or major fiat currency, including the Nigerian naira — and the result updates instantly at live market rates. You can go crypto-to-fiat (BTC → USD), fiat-to-crypto (NGN → BTC) or crypto-to-crypto (ETH → SOL).

How conversion rates are calculated

Every conversion is priced from live market data, refreshed continuously and stamped with its source time. Crypto prices come from CoinGecko and Binance; fiat conversions use current exchange rates; and the Nigerian naira uses the live peer-to-peer (P2P) USDT/NGN rate — the rate ordinary Nigerians actually transact at — rather than the official rate, which is often very different. Figures are market estimates and exclude exchange spreads and network fees.

Currencies you can convert

The converter covers the top cryptocurrencies by market cap — including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Solana and XRP — and major fiat currencies: USD, Nigerian naira (NGN), euro, British pound, Indian rupee, South African rand and UAE dirham. For a full picture of crypto in local terms, see crypto in naira and crypto in Africa.

Frequently asked questions

Is the crypto converter free?

Yes. The converter is free, needs no sign-up, and uses live prices refreshed continuously.

Which currencies can I convert?

Any of the top cryptocurrencies — Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Solana, XRP and more — and major fiats: US dollar (USD), Nigerian naira (NGN), euro (EUR), British pound (GBP), Indian rupee (INR), South African rand (ZAR) and UAE dirham (AED).

How accurate are the conversions?

They use live market prices updated continuously and stamped with their source time. Results are estimates of market value before any exchange or network fees.

Why is the naira rate different from my bank’s rate?

Naira conversions use the peer-to-peer (P2P) USDT/NGN rate — the rate Nigerians actually trade crypto at — which usually differs from the official rate. See our dollar-to-naira page for both side by side.

Can I convert between two cryptocurrencies?

Yes. Choose any coin as “from” and any coin as “to” — for example BTC → ETH — and the converter uses both live prices.

Does converting here move or exchange my crypto?

No. This is a calculator that shows live value only; it never buys, sells or moves any crypto. To actually trade, use a reputable exchange.
