Media partnerships & events
Partner with TLT on crypto news & events
Reach a verification-first, Africa-aware crypto audience. We work with event organisers, projects, exchanges and PR teams — through editorial coverage, event media partnerships and clearly-labelled sponsorship.
TLT (Token Ledger Times) partners with crypto event organisers, projects, exchanges and PR teams in two distinct ways: editorial — we cover genuinely newsworthy events, listings and launches for free, decided by our newsdesk — and clearly-labelled sponsored placements and event media partnerships. Coverage is never for sale; sponsorship buys visibility, not a favourable story. To start, email us with your event or announcement, dates and goals.
Who partners with TLT
If you’re building, launching or convening something in crypto — especially with an African angle — there’s a way to work with us.
Event & conference organisers
Running a crypto or Web3 conference, summit, hackathon or meetup — especially in Africa? Partner with us as a media partner for listings, coverage and cross-promotion to a verification-first audience.
Media partnerToken projects & protocols
Launching a token, mainnet, upgrade or major feature? Share the news with our newsdesk. Genuinely newsworthy developments are covered editorially, on the merits.
Press & launchesExchanges & on-ramps
Listings, new markets, naira/African fiat pairs or regulatory milestones. We cover market-structure news that matters to real users, and especially African traders.
Market newsPR & communications agencies
Represent crypto clients? Send us embargoed or timed announcements. We work to agreed timings and verify every claim against primary sources before we publish.
Agency deskWays to work with us
Four distinct lanes. The paid lanes and the editorial lane never mix — that separation is what makes a TLT mention worth something.
Event media partnership
List your event, get an editorial write-up where it is newsworthy, and cross-promote with TLT. Ideal for conferences, summits and hackathons reaching a crypto-native, Africa-aware audience.
EventsEditorial coverage
Pitch a genuinely newsworthy story — a launch, listing, funding round, partnership or milestone. Our newsdesk decides what to cover, on the merits, and verifies it against primary sources. Free, and never guaranteed.
Earned / freeSponsored placement
Clearly-labelled sponsored content and placements, marked “Sponsored” with rel="sponsored" links. Buys visibility and disclosure — never a favourable angle or a place in our editorial coverage.
Data & API partnership
Syndicate TLT’s source-stamped, machine-readable briefs and market data, or build on our API. Good for apps, aggregators, terminals and AI agents that need citable crypto data.
Data / APIWhy partner with TLT
Africa-first reach
We cover the Nigerian and wider African crypto market — naira P2P rates, local regulation and on-ramps — that larger global outlets under-serve. Reach an audience most crypto media miss.
Trust & verification
Every brief is cross-checked across sources, verified against on-chain data, source-stamped and timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain. Association with TLT is association with accuracy.
Built to be cited
Our pages are structured for AI answer engines and assistants — clean schema, source stamps and machine-readable feeds — so partner news is discoverable by both people and the AI systems that increasingly answer crypto questions.
How it works
Get in touch
Email us with your event or announcement, the dates, links and what you are hoping to achieve. Flag clearly if anything is under embargo.
We review & reply
The newsdesk assesses news value for editorial coverage, or we scope a media partnership / sponsored placement. We’ll tell you honestly which fits — and if it isn’t a fit.
Agree the details
For partnerships and sponsorship we confirm scope, timing, labelling and any assets in writing. Editorial coverage stays entirely at our discretion and is never part of a paid deal.
Publish & share
We publish on the agreed timing, source-stamped and (where sponsored) clearly labelled, and share it across our distribution — site, news feed and syndication.
Let’s talk
Tell us about your event, launch or announcement — the dates, the links, and what you want to achieve. We read every message and reply to the ones we can help.
Partnerships & events — frequently asked questions
Can I pay TLT to cover my project or event?
You can pay for a clearly-labelled sponsored placement or event media partnership, which buys visibility and disclosure. You cannot buy editorial news coverage or a favourable angle — our newsdesk decides editorial coverage independently, on news value. See our ethics & ownership policy.
How do I become a media partner for my crypto event?
Email us at partners@tlt.ng with your event name, dates, location, website and what you’re looking for. We’re particularly keen to partner with events serving the African and Nigerian crypto market.
What’s the difference between editorial coverage and sponsored content?
Editorial coverage is earned and free — our newsdesk chooses to cover something because it is newsworthy, and we never guarantee it. Sponsored content is paid, always marked “Sponsored” with rel="sponsored" links, and kept visually and clearly separate from our journalism.
Do you guarantee coverage if I send a press release?
No. We read every pitch, but editorial coverage is never guaranteed — we cover what our newsdesk judges newsworthy and can verify against primary sources. We never publish on the strength of a press release alone.
Can we syndicate TLT’s content or use your data?
Yes, under a data or syndication partnership. Our briefs are source-stamped and machine-readable and our market data is available via API — see API & data. Terms and attribution are agreed per partner.
Who do I contact about partnerships?
Email partners@tlt.ng with “partnership”, “event” or “press” in the subject line and we’ll route it to the right desk.
