Ethics, Ownership & Funding

Who runs TLT, how it makes money, and the lines between our reporting and our commercial interests.

Ownership & independence

TLT (tlt.ng) is an independent crypto data and news publisher. It is not owned by, and does not speak for, any exchange, token project or fund. What we cover and how we cover it is decided independently of any commercial relationship.

How we’re funded

TLT is building revenue from two sources: affiliate commissions when readers sign up to third-party services (for example, regulated on-ramps) through links we clearly mark, and a paid data API and premium tools. Neither advertising nor affiliate relationships influence our reporting, our data, or whether a story is covered.

Advertising & affiliate disclosure

Links to third-party commercial services — such as exchange or on-ramp sign-ups — are marked with rel="sponsored" and/or a “sponsored” label, and we may earn a commission if you use them. We list only services we consider reputable, and a place on that list is never sold in exchange for favourable coverage.

Conflicts of interest

TLT does not accept payment to publish, alter or suppress a brief or report. We do not take tokens, equity or other consideration in exchange for coverage, and sponsored commercial links are always labelled as such.

No financial advice

TLT never gives financial, investment or trading advice and never predicts prices. Everything we publish is for information and education only. Cryptocurrency is volatile and high-risk; always do your own research.
