After 17 years, former Minister of State for Home Affairs Lutfuzzaman Babar expressed gratitude to Almighty God for Babar’s release and promised to protect democracy and rights of people in Bangladesh. He expressed his concern over Begum Khaleda Zia’s illness and said that she was ready to sacrifice her life for the nation. Babar thanked everyone and asked for prayers.
Lutfuzzaman Babar said: “Today I can be free after this obstacle, and for this I thank God Almighty, Lord of the Worlds, and praise be to God.” With today’s historic student uprising, because of the uprising, we became independent in a new way on August 5. Because of what eight million people left today from Bangladesh, this dictatorship of Sheikh Hasina, the tyrannical fascist government. For all the students and brothers who were injured and killed during this mass uprising, I pray for the salvation of their souls. I also wish recovery for those injured.
In this case, our national leader, Begum Khaleda Zia, spent time in prison due to illness at her age. Tariq Rahman, our acting president, has been in exile for 17 years. The sacrifices they accepted, as well as the torture, oppression, repression, oppression and imprisonment that the BNP and our leaders and activists at various levels were subjected to, I am in the same prison. But 18 crore people of entire Bangladesh were inside the big prison. If anything is needed for Bangladesh, democracy and the people today, I will do it, God willing. You should pray, you will be fine, God willing.”
He also said: “Bangladesh is my country, Bangladesh first. For the sake of this Bangladesh, for the people, for freedom, for democracy, if I have to sacrifice my life, I will give it, God willing. Our leader Begum Khaleda Zia was imprisoned at this age She fell ill, and he arranged to kill her in different ways, without treatment, with wrong treatment. May God protect him from there. Today, if he can imprison him at this age, we can do a lot for him, God willing.
For the people of Bangladesh and democracy in Bangladesh, if God asks us to do something, we will do it, God willing. Be well, I’ve been through a lot from different places. Here are my longings, congratulations, prayers, and gratitude for your arrival today. You pray for me, and I pray for you.
Finally you suffer, thank you, salute you. You will return to your families, say hello to your father and mother, and pray for everyone, for everyone. I express my gratitude and thanks to all the media professionals who come from different places and suffer all day long. May God protect us. Bangladesh Zindabad, Bangladesh Nationalist Party Zindabad.”
