Legal advisor Asif Nazrul said that those who participated in the exchange of views said that time should be taken to prepare a unanimous document, there should be no rush, and no undue delay should be made. Some suggested forming a committee to discuss this goal in an organized manner. “All proposals will be studied effectively and a decision will be made quickly,” he said.
He said these things after an all-party meeting at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday (January 16).
“The amount of time the announcement could take has been discussed,” Asif Nazrul said. However, efforts are being made to avoid undue delay and wastage of time. All agreed on the necessity of preparing such a document after further intensive discussions on the basis of consensus. Everyone expressed their optimism that we would succeed in this process. The meeting ended with optimism that through unbreakable national unity during the mass uprising, we had brought down the genocidal fascist dictatorial government – and we could all craft the narrative of that unity in unison.
In response to journalists’ questions, the legal advisor said: “No distance was created between the political parties. There were different opinions about the process that will be discussed. We welcome different opinions. We do not see any tone of division anywhere. Rather, everyone can work together, so that Everyone’s opinion is reflected, we believe – this will foster unity.
Asif Nazrul also said: “There can be further discussions on this matter, there can be a committee, there can be a bilateral discussion.” We will take them into consideration and decide the strategy based on their suggestions.
