They are not quality checked by BSTI and they do not accept the quality certificate. For these offenses and violation of relevant provisions of the BSTI Act, 2018, SS Food was fined Tk 100,000, including Tk 80,000 and Tk 70,000 under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.
Meanwhile, the owner of the establishment, Tamal Saha, 32 years old, confessed to committing the crime before the investigating judge. He promised to take the necessary measures.
