1. Aspirin shampoo
Many medicated shampoos contain salicylic acid, the same active ingredient found in aspirin. Grind two aspirin tablets and mix them with regular shampoo every time you wash your hair. After leaving the mixture on the hair for one to two minutes, rinse it well and wash the hair with regular shampoo.
2. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is one of the popular remedies for dandruff. Apart from preventing dandruff, it cleanses the scalp and gives it a lifeless shine. Mix vinegar in a cup of water. Apply this mixture evenly on the scalp after washing your hair with shampoo. Gently rub the root and wait for a few minutes. Then wash with water.
3. A packet of neem
The antimicrobial and antifungal properties of neem fight dry scalp, dandruff and scalp infections. It is full of fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamin E and other important minerals. Apart from stopping hair loss, it also plays a role in eliminating dandruff. Mix amla juice and neem powder in boiling water and let it cool for 10 minutes. Apply the mixture on the scalp. Massage for a few minutes. Then wash with a mild shampoo.
4. Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil has powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties. Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with coconut, jojoba, or olive oil and massage the roots. Wait for 10 minutes then wash it with shampoo.
5. Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera is a well-known moisturizing ingredient that relieves dry hair. Provides essential nutrients to the scalp. After extracting the gel from the aloe vera leaves, make a smooth paste. Apply the mask to the hair and scalp. Leave it for an hour before washing.
6. Lemon juice and coconut oil
Vitamin C and antimicrobial properties in lemon juice help remove excess oil from the scalp. Coconut oil is very effective in removing dandruff. This oil is full of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help in maintaining a healthy scalp. Mix 4-5 tablespoons of coconut oil with 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Shake the mixture well, then wet a piece of cotton and rub it on the scalp. After 15 to 20 minutes, wash your hair with shampoo.
