The outgoing president, who had succeeded Noël Le Graët, who resigned in February 2023, announced it on Saturday during a meeting of football district presidents. If Diallo’s candidacy was not in doubt, this is the first time that he has made it official since until now, Diallo had simply said that he was thinking about it.
