Another child who was injured in the anti-discrimination movement died

A child injured in the anti-discrimination student movement died while receiving treatment. Their name is Arafat (12). He died on Sunday night (December 22) while receiving treatment at the Combined Military Hospital. Tariq Reda, member of the Secretary of the Central Subcommittee for Health Affairs at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, confirmed the news of his death.

He said he died of cardiac arrest while receiving treatment at Dhaka CMH. He also said that Arafat’s funeral will be held in the central Shaheed Minar area at three o’clock in the afternoon on Monday.

Tariq said that Arafat’s physical condition improved at first. But since last month, his physical condition has begun to deteriorate. Cardiac arrest had occurred three times before. At some point it was decided to send him out of the country. According to the decision, an air ambulance was arranged for Arafat on December 24 after he ran for a week.
