A digital signboard of a private clinic in Lalmonirhat’s Hatibandha Medical Mor area displays the words “Abar Phirbe Chhatra League, Jai Bangla Jai Bangabandhu”.
On Sunday (January 19) at 8pm, the digital board of the clinic called “Hatibanda Clinic and Nursing Home” started scrolling.
The clinic authorities claimed that the software had been hacked. Beyond that, they declined to comment.
Local residents say the private clinic is run under joint ownership. It is owned by the BNP and pro-Awami people.
In this regard, Mamoon Hossain, Hatibanda Police Station, told Bangla Tribune: “The text was floating before our eyes.” We saw you brought the program to the police station. The clinic has prepared GD (General Diaries).’
